Sachet Filling in Turkey
Turkish Supplements offers sachet filling in Turkey for supplement brands, importers and distributors. We fill powders and granules into stick packs and three-side seal sachets, packed under your brand as a private label product, or filled to your own formula on a contract basis.
A sachet is a single-dose pack: the customer tears it open and uses the whole contents. That makes it a good fit where dosing accuracy matters, where the powder is sensitive to moisture, or where the pack has to travel light and take up little shelf space.
What we fill into sachets
Typical sachet projects we quote include:
- Vitamin and mineral powders — vitamin C, magnesium, multivitamin blends
- Collagen and protein blends — collagen peptides, protein mixes, amino acid blends
- Instant drink mixes — electrolyte blends, flavoured drink powders
- Herbal and botanical powders — plant extracts and dried botanical blends
- Granulated blends — free-flowing granules for direct dosing
We do not fill liquids into sachets. Liquid products are supplied in bottles, ampoules or vials instead. If your product is a liquid, tell us and we will quote the right pack format rather than force it into a sachet.
Sachet formats
- Stick pack — long, narrow single-dose pack; typically 2 g to 10 g of powder
- Three-side seal sachet — square or rectangular; typically 5 g to 30 g
- Four-side seal sachet — for larger fills and a more rigid finish
Laminate choice depends on the powder. For hygroscopic or oxidation-sensitive ingredients we recommend an aluminium foil laminate, which gives the strongest moisture and light barrier. For short shelf-life or less sensitive products, a paper/foil/PE laminate gives a softer, more retail-friendly finish.
Your artwork is printed on the laminate. Batch number and best-before date are applied during filling, so every sachet in the batch is traceable.
Which products suit a sachet
A sachet works well when:
- The single dose is 2 g or more — below that, a capsule or tablet is usually cheaper per unit
- The powder is hygroscopic and needs a sealed barrier
- The customer should not measure the dose themselves
- The product is sold in travel or on-the-go formats
If your dose is small, or your product is a liquid or a softgel, we will say so at quotation stage. Recommending the wrong format costs you money and costs us a customer.
Private label sachets
Private label means the finished sachet carries your brand and your artwork, not ours.
- Formula from our range, or developed with you
- Your artwork printed on the laminate
- Starting quantities from 2,000 units
- Samples and label wording within 5 working days
Contract filling sachets
If you already have the powder blend and the specification, contract filling is the shorter route.
- You supply the powder blend, or we produce it to your formula
- Fill weight and tolerance agreed and written into the specification
- Batch numbering and coding during the run
- Projects handled under NDA on request
Filling accuracy and documentation
Fill weight is the critical control point in sachet filling: too little and the customer is short of dose, too much and your cost per unit climbs. Fill weight is checked during the run against the agreed tolerance.
Each batch is supplied with a certificate of analysis. Specifications and raw material statements are available on request, so you can check what your target market requires before the batch ships.
We do not make disease or treatment claims for any product, and we do not write claims into pack copy. Nutrient content statements and any authorised nutrition or health claims follow the rules of the destination market.
How a sachet project runs
- Brief — powder type, fill weight, pack format, target market and quantity
- Quotation — we confirm feasibility, laminate, fill weight and MOQ
- Samples — samples and label wording in 5 working days
- Approval — you approve the sample, artwork and specification
- Filling — filling, sealing, coding and documentation
- Delivery — batch with certificate of analysis, ready for export
Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum order for sachet filling?
Starting quantities are from 2,000 units per product. The exact minimum depends on the fill weight, the laminate and the print run, and is confirmed in the quotation.
What is the difference between a stick pack and a sachet?
A stick pack is a long, narrow sachet, usually 2 g to 10 g, designed to be stirred into a drink. A three-side seal sachet is wider and takes larger fills, typically 5 g to 30 g. Both are single-dose packs; the difference is shape, fill size and how the customer uses it.
Can you fill liquids into sachets?
No. Sachets are filled with powders and granules. Liquids are supplied in bottles, ampoules or vials, and we quote those formats separately.
How do you protect moisture-sensitive powders?
With the laminate. An aluminium foil laminate gives the strongest moisture and light barrier and is the usual choice for hygroscopic ingredients.
What documentation comes with a sachet batch?
A certificate of analysis for the batch, with specifications and raw material statements available on request.
